Our Team

Deus obtained his PhD and MSc from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, which were fully funded by the UK National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) and Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. Prior to that, he graduated with BSc from the University of Malawi. Deus has also undertaken post-doctoral research training at Yale School of Public Health, Yale University, United States. Deus brings at least 14 years of expansive experience in data analytics and modelling, and supervision and leadership.

Deus previously worked as Data Manager, Epidemiologist, Research Fellow, and Research and Learning Officer while at key public health institutions at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Programme, Malawi Management Sciences for Health, Imperial College London, and World Health Organization. He has also successfully won and managed grants from the NIHR, and the International Society of Pneumonia and Pneumococcal Diseases (ISPPD). Further, Deus’ original work has been published in various high-impact international peer-review journals accessible under the ‘Report’ section.
